The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf

Craft

Children decorated two foam cups with stickers, stamps, markers, glitter glue, sequins...whatever you have on hand that is attractive to children.

While their cups dried, we watched man and woman flamenco dancers on a video and had a snack of fritos and tampico (fruit juice).

The children took a handful of beans and poured them in one cup. Helpers hot glued the two cups' open ends together.

The trick is to put the hot glue on the open end of the cup with the beans and place the open end of the other cup on top.

The children loved to shake their "maracas" to the music!
