Red, white and blue necklace

by Shannon
(USA)

I cut circles out of red, white & blue paper, with red being larger (~ 4" diameter), then white a bit smaller & blue the smallest.

For the older ones (4-5) they cut along my lines, for the younger ones, I cut them out.

Next they put them in order from largest to smallest, smallest to largest, etc. to practice sizes.

Then they glued the blue onto the white & the white onto the red.

Then I gave them each a penny to glue to the center of the blue (you could also include the penny in your sequencing).

Finally, we hole punched the top & put some yarn through for a necklace!

Thanks for sharing. I made this in my class, I use a quarter instead of a penny.
