Mixing marker colors

by Jeanne
(Sebring, Fl USA)

Take a coffee filter and have your child draw on it with various colors of washable markers. They can draw whatever they desire.

Once they have completed their drawing gather a small cup of water. Have the child use a straw or coffee stirrer to place droplets of water on various spots on the coffee filter.

The child will be amazed at how the colors blend and the new colors that are made by mixing.
