Cornflour

Cornflour

This is a recipe I've made over and over again for my preschooler and my older 'schoolers' still enjoy this too !

Take maizena (maize flour)and water and mix it in a bowl to the ratio of 2:1 (e.g. 100ml maizena to 50 ml water).

The mixture will be a such a consistency that it will be flowing when you are trying to hold it in your hands, but when you poke it with your fingers it will be a firm substance.

If you rub it between your fingers it will even become dry and rubbery, but when you stop it will become liquid again. It will fascinate both young and old alike! Have fun.
