Easy Ocean Fish Picture

by Josh´s mom
(GA)

On a blue paper trace your child´s hand (makes a fish) so, that the thumb is up (fish fin) and the fingers (fish body) are close together. Then add an eye, add a mouth (from index finger) and let your child color the fish.

Cut and glue on some uneven paper strips in green to add some algae and enjoy your ocean.

If available, put some glue at the bottom of the paper and sprinkle with sand (sand will stick).

Have fun!!!!

Our fish picture
by: Shirley

We created a similar craft when we did our preschool ocean theme. There is a picture of it here:

Sand Collage Craft

Another variation, would be to cut a fish bowl shape in blue, paste it on a different colored background and then glue the fish into the bowl.

Beans or unpopped corn could be pasted along the bottom of the fishbowl to represent the pebbles at the bottom of a fish bowl.
