Air is needed for burning

Science experiments at our pre-school starts with this standard experiment.

Take a candle and place it in a wide container. Light it. And see it burn.

Simultaneously take another candle in a similarly wide container. Light it and cover it with a glass. See the flame go out.

Talk about how air is needed for burning.

Hello dear. It 's really a nice experiment. We can show to the preschoolers, but if we consider the safety of the kids. Daycare centers won't allow us to do so. It's not really a issue. I like it most. I appreciate you. God bless you.
